Brilliant takes a position that sounds obvious and is rarely followed: you learn mathematics by doing mathematics, not by watching somebody else do it. Courses are built from problems you work through yourself, and the tutor watches where you get stuck, sketches directly on your screen and asks the question that unblocks you rather than simply revealing the answer.
