Download Cooking Mama: Let's cook! APK

Cooking Mama has been a beloved series for two decades, and the reason is the tactility of it. Chopping, stirring, kneading and frying are each played as a small touch action performed with your finger, so cooking feels like doing something with your hands rather than tapping a button and waiting. Over thirty recipes each break down into a sequence of these actions, and doing them well produces a better dish, which gives a reason to care. Happy Village extends beyond individual dishes. You serve what you cook in your own restaurant and build it up over time, and the ingredients come from your own fishing, fields and ranch, so the whole loop from raising to harvesting to cooking to serving belongs to you. That structure gives purpose to cooking one more dish, which a recipe-by-recipe game lacks after the novelty fades. Game Plaza collects non-cooking mini games, covering shopkeeping, helping out and other activities, so a session does not have to be cooking if the mood is different. The presentation is bright and encouraging rather than punishing, and the touch controls are simple enough for children while the progression holds adult attention. It suits families, and the two audiences can genuinely play the same game.
