Meeting Guide is published by A.A. World Services and lists Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in a form you can use on a phone. It solves a specific and sometimes urgent problem: finding a meeting when you need one, in an unfamiliar town, at an awkward hour, or on a day when looking one up on a website is more than you can manage. Meetings are drawn from participating A.A. service entities, so the information comes from the fellowship itself rather than from a third party. Two views are provided. In-person meetings are shown by location with times and addresses, and online meetings are listed worldwide, displayed automatically in your device's local time zone, which removes the arithmetic that otherwise stands between you and a meeting starting in twenty minutes somewhere else. Filters and keyword search narrow a long list quickly by day, time, format or accessibility. Each view keeps its own favourites, saved with the heart icon, so the meetings you attend regularly are one tap away rather than found again each time. The app is free, carries no advertising and requires no account or personal details. It is a practical tool built for a purpose, and it does that job quietly and well.
