Its usefulness comes from breadth rather than any single feature. Image generation creates original pictures from a description, or transforms existing ones through instructions given in plain words rather than through editing tools. Advanced Voice Mode turns it into a spoken conversation you can hold while walking or driving, which is genuinely different from typing: it is the mode people use to practise a language, think out loud, or settle an argument at a dinner table without anyone reading a screen. Photo upload handles what is easier to show than describe. Photograph a handwritten recipe to have it transcribed, a landmark to learn about it, a machine's control panel to work out what a symbol means, or a page of notes to have it summarised. What emerges after a few weeks of use is that the app tends to replace searching for a lot of questions, because a direct answer beats a list of pages.
