Download Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more APK

Freenow's distinguishing choice is its emphasis on official, licensed taxis and professional drivers. In cities where private hire and traditional taxis exist alongside each other, that is a meaningful difference: licensed drivers are regulated, insured to carry passengers commercially and have generally driven the city for years rather than following a route line on a screen. For a late arrival at an airport or an unfamiliar city at night, that reassurance is the product. The app goes wider than taxis. eScooters, eBikes, eMopeds and carsharing are bookable through the same account, along with private hire vehicles, so the right option for a particular journey can be chosen rather than defaulting to a car for a distance that a bike would cover faster. Public transport tickets can be bought in the app, and rental cars arranged, which covers the two ends of the journey scale in one place. Payment is handled in the app without cash or a card machine at the end of a ride, and fares and receipts are recorded for anyone who needs to expense them. Journeys can be booked immediately or scheduled ahead, which is the option that matters for early flights. The service does not operate in every country or city, so it is worth checking the supported list before relying on it. Fares are shown before you confirm, and the app displays the vehicle and driver details, which makes finding the right car on a busy street considerably easier.
