Shahid

Shahid is the video service of the MBC media group and the largest Arabic-language streaming platform. The refreshed app gathers Shahid Originals, exclusive dramas and comedies from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and the Gulf, Arabic and international movies, kids programming, shows and documentaries.

Besides the on-demand library, it streams MBC television channels live along with sports broadcasts, including matches of leading leagues. Part of the catalog is free with ads, while the VIP subscription removes ads, unlocks premieres and delivers quality up to 4K with downloads for offline viewing. Family profiles and a kids mode are configured separately.

The interface is in Arabic and English, recommendations adapt to your viewing history, and you can pick up an episode where you left off on a TV or tablet. The app is aimed at viewers in the Middle East and North Africa; the availability of individual titles depends on the country.
