Sonic the Hedgehog Classic

Sonic the Hedgehog Classic is the game that started the series on the Mega Drive. The blue hedgehog dashes through green hills, sunken ruins and Dr. Robotnik's factories, collecting rings and freeing animals from capsules. Every original zone and boss is here.

This is not simply the old code running inside an emulator. The Android edition was rebuilt: the picture fills a widescreen display without stretching, animation is smoother, and Tails and Knuckles join as extra characters with their own moves, flying and wall climbing. A time attack mode and adjustable on-screen controls round it out.

It suits players who remember the game from childhood and newcomers curious about where SEGA's platformer began. No internet connection is needed to play. The game is free and supported by ads.
