Traffic Racer

Traffic Racer is an arcade driving game with no finish line. You steer a car along a busy highway and try to go as fast as possible without hitting the cars around you. Races pay out cash that you spend on upgrades or new vehicles. The garage holds over forty cars with basic paint and wheel customisation, and the traffic includes trucks, buses and SUVs.

The game offers several modes, among them Endless, Two-Way, Time Trial and Police Chase, plus varied scenery that ranges from desert to snow, rain, forest and a city at night. Controls are simple: tilt or touch to steer, with on-screen buttons for gas and brake. The developer's own tips are that higher speed earns more points, and overtaking close to other cars above 100 km/h pays bonus cash.

It works well for short sessions when you want pick-up-and-play arcade action without a story. Online leaderboards and achievements need an internet connection. Rated for 3+.
