Selfish: Selfie Camera

Selfish removes the main annoyance of selfies, reaching for the shutter button. The app offers three automatic capture modes. Face detection: you set how many people should be in the frame and the camera shoots by itself once everyone is in place; voice cues help line up the shot even with the main camera without looking at the screen. Self timer: a countdown and the number of photos in a row, with an indicator of how many remain. Voice command: a chosen word triggers the shutter, handy when the phone is on a tripod or out of reach.

After a session you review the series and keep only the good frames while the rest are discarded. Saved photos go to the in-app gallery and the system library. The built-in editor adds skin retouching, makeup, portrait-style background blur, sepia, a black-and-white filter, a vignette and fun face effects.

The app suits solo selfies with the main camera, group photos with no one behind the camera, tripod shots and quick selection of the best results. The free version contains ads; a one-time Pro purchase removes them and unlocks every effect. The app is accessible to blind and visually impaired users.
