Hay Day

Hay Day is a farm simulator in which you build a working homestead from scratch. Wheat and corn grow in your fields, chickens, cows and horses supply eggs, dairy and other goods, and a nearby lake lets you cast a line. Crops can be replanted again and again, and raw produce turns into finished items such as bread, cakes and clothing.

Trade and expansion drive the progress. You sell goods at a roadside shop, ship them by truck or steamboat and fill orders from townspeople and visitors. Higher levels unlock new buildings, for instance a bakery, a grill or a sugar mill, and decorations let you shape the land to your taste. Friends can join the same neighbourhood, swap tips and goods and compete in weekly events.

It fits players who enjoy relaxed management games at an unhurried pace. The game costs nothing to start, but some items are sold for real money, and in-game purchases can be switched off in the device settings. A network connection is required. Rated for 16+.
