Wink: Video Enhancer & Editor

Wink is a video editor from Meitu centred on quality enhancement. It upscales clips from 480p and 720p to 4K, removes blur and noise, and restores faded or pixelated footage, including digitised home videos. The strength of the fix is adjustable so results stay natural, and seven scene-specific models, for gaming clips, night footage, old photos and more, apply their own processing. An automatic mode finds the problems in a frame by itself, while a basic mode lets you tune colour, night view and denoising by hand; batch processing is included.

The second part is retouching that holds up in motion: fill light for faces, hair colour changes with a preview, softening of wrinkles and eye bags, teeth whitening, skin cleanup, face and body shape adjustment, and makeup filters. In a group video each person can be edited separately.

Creative tools include an early-2000s digital camera effect, live wallpapers made from photos, subtitles in more than 10 languages, and anime and cartoon styles. It suits bloggers and anyone who wants to tidy up phone footage without editing skills.
