Al-Maktaba Al-Shamela

Al-Maktaba Al-Shamela is the official mobile app of the Comprehensive Library, the largest free collection of Arabic books on Islamic sciences. It brings together works on the Quran and its exegesis, hadith and commentaries, jurisprudence of the different schools, creed, Arabic language, history and biographies of scholars, as well as the auxiliary disciplines a student of these sciences needs.

Books are stored as text rather than scans, so fast full-text search works across the entire library: you can find a hadith by a fragment, compare opinions in different sources and copy a quote with an exact reference to volume and page. Bookmarks, notes, font settings and a night reading mode are supported.

The collection downloads in parts, so you can keep only the sections you need on the device and save storage. The app is completely free, has no ads and is aimed at students of Islamic studies, teachers, imams and anyone who reads Arabic.
