Download CamScanner APK

CamScanner uses the phone camera to digitize paper: receipts, lecture notes, invoices, whiteboard sessions, business cards and certificates. The app detects the edges of the page, straightens it and sharpens text and graphics so the result looks like a real scan rather than a photo. Finished documents are saved as PDF, JPG, Word or TXT.

Optical character recognition is the key tool here. It reads the text inside an image or a PDF so you can search it later, edit it or copy it elsewhere. Documents can be posted to social networks, sent as email attachments or links, printed on a nearby printer over the air without extra drivers, or faxed straight from the app. You can also create a personal e-signature and place it on contracts and forms.

It suits students, accountants, office managers and anyone who would rather keep an archive in a pocket than next to a bulky copier. Scanning happens on the spot with the camera; sharing, wireless printing and fax require an internet connection.
