Pixel Camera

Pixel Camera handles photos and video on Google Pixel phones. The toolkit includes Portrait, Night Sight, Time Lapse and Cinematic Blur. For stills there is HDR+ with exposure and white balance controls, astrophotography for night skies, Add Me for putting the person behind the lens into the group shot, and macro focus for very small subjects.

Another group of tools covers zoom and creative effects: Super Zoom, Pro Zoom, Long Exposure and Action Pan. Video gains Video Boost, Night Sight Video and Cinematic Pan, and filmmakers get a Creator Suite with a built-in teleprompter and project folders. Experienced users can open pro controls such as shutter speed and ISO.

It suits Pixel owners who want to get the most from their camera hardware. According to the listing, the latest release runs only on Pixel handsets with a recent Android version, and the Wear OS edition needs a connected Pixel phone. Some features are not offered on every model.
