Download Rover – Pet Sitters APK

Rover connects pet owners with local sitters and dog walkers, covering boarding while you are away, day care, walks and drop-in visits for cats and dogs. The problem it solves is a specific one: kennels suit some animals and distress others, family and neighbours are not always available, and finding somebody trustworthy by word of mouth takes longer than most trips allow. Sitter profiles carry reviews, photographs and details of experience, so a choice is made on evidence rather than on a listing. Individual needs are the part worth emphasising. Many pets are not straightforward: an animal on medication, one on a prescription diet, an elderly dog with a routine, or a cat that hides from strangers for three days. Sitters describe what they can handle, and you can discuss specifics before booking rather than discovering a mismatch on the first day. That conversation is what separates a good arrangement from an anxious one. Safety is a stated priority, and bookings made through the platform carry protections that an informal arrangement does not. Updates and photographs during a stay are the small thing owners value most, because the worry while away is not really about logistics. Payment and messaging run through the app, so arrangements and amounts are recorded rather than resting on a verbal agreement. Arranging a first meeting before the trip itself is sensible: the pet meets the sitter in advance and you can explain routines and medication without rushing on departure day.
