Akinator

Akinator is a guessing game built around a blue genie who tries to work out what you have in mind. You picture a real or fictional character, answer a series of questions, and the genie names his best guess. Beyond characters, you can test him on films, animals and objects. When he fails, it usually means you chose something truly unusual.

Around the core game sit daily challenges with five mystery characters, Aki Awards for rare and long-forgotten picks, leaderboards and a hall of fame. An optional user account keeps your awards and in-game currency even after you switch phones. Spoken questions help the youngest players follow what the genie asks, and the interface is available in seventeen languages, Arabic among them. A paid subscription unlocks every character and removes ads.

It works well for an evening with family or friends, and for anyone who likes testing general knowledge. A connection to the internet is needed to play and to sync your progress. Rated for 12+.
