ChatPDF turns any PDF into a conversation partner: you upload a document and ask questions in plain language, and the artificial intelligence answers using only the contents of the file, pointing to the pages the answer came from. It is faster than flipping through hundreds of pages in search of the right paragraph.

The app produces concise summaries of long texts, explains difficult passages in simple words and extracts definitions, figures and conclusions. One chat can work with several PDFs at the same time and compare them. Research papers, textbooks, contracts, manuals, reports and scanned documents with a text layer are supported in many languages, Arabic and English among them.

Chats are saved so you can return to them later, and the document history can be sorted into folders. The free tier limits the number of documents and pages per day; a subscription removes the limits. The service is aimed at students, researchers and professionals who have to read a lot of documents.
