PS Remote Play

PS Remote Play is the official app for playing your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 remotely. The console stays at home in rest mode while its screen is streamed to a phone or tablet over the home network or the internet, so you can carry on a session in another room or away from home.

You can play with on-screen touch controls or a connected controller: DUALSHOCK 4, DualSense on Android 12 and later, DualSense Edge on Android 14 and later, or the Backbone One PlayStation Edition over USB Type-C. The phone microphone lets you join voice chats, and the keyboard lets you type text on the console, which is easier than using a gamepad.

For stable play you need a console with remote play enabled, the same PlayStation Network account and a connection of at least 5 Mbps, with 15 Mbps recommended. Video quality can be adjusted to the bandwidth. The app is free and works only with your own console.
